This is an auctioning website for anyone who wishes to buy or sell a vehicle. And it doesn’t end with cars, no siree. You can buy boats, farm vehicles, industry vehicles and more. Let’s take a look at what the site has to offer to you as a seller and a buyer:

If you’re looking to sell your vehicle in the UK, you have two options here. Firstly you can sell your vehicle to CoPart. Simply fill out a form and they’ll send you an estimate, although this will of course be dependent on the condition of the car on receipt. They'll even collect it from your house.

The second method to sell your car is to put it in an auction. This means that members of the public can bid against each other in order to buy your vehicle. This option incurs a fee, which is dependent on the final sale value you reach. A full list of such fees is provided above this review, in the “costs” section. These fees seemed reasonable to us, and the site provides a nice platform to sell. You can upload photos, provide extra details and set a minimum bet so that you don’t lose out. If your car doesn’t sell, then you don’t pay any fees, which is a pleasant addition.

As a buyer you can choose from a wide range of vehicles (over a million worldwide, apparently, although you’re probably going to want one that’s already in the UK unless you’re willing to pay to ship it over). This makes CoPart UK a useful website if you’re looking for business vehicles such as vans or forklifts, as well as a practical website for getting a new car for the family.

Bidding is simple and the seller pays any fees. However, all members are required to register with the site and may incur a verification fee, which you can find out about by calling the team. This fee varies. 

Overall, we feel that CoPartUK offers a good service for a fair price. It is somewhat more limited than its American counterpart, but this is mainly due to the fact that there are fewer people using it in the UK. Still, you won’t lose out by advertising a car here, and you can always sell it to the company if you feel you’ve received a fair valuation.
